Back to the front! We're back, and we couldn't be happier. IKILLYA returns to the stage Nov 22nd @ The Ace of Clubs in NYC with our good friends Hung. Our new guitarist is killing it and we've got lots of new music for you. We can't wait to see you all! We're also still keeping our eyes open for a 5th member. See ya soon! Guitarist FOUND! Hey friends Time for round 8. After nearly 7 months of searching, we have found a new guitarist. I know it seems like we've been back and forth with this many times, and we have. However, this new cat is fitting in better than anyone in a long time! We'd like to welcome Stephanos to IKILLYA. We'll have pictures up soon and who knows, we might even start booking!! Searching for Guitarists.....AGAIN March - 2008 That's right. Once again, we're looking for guitarists. Here's what we're looking for: We have a dream. We have the dream of a metal band that stays brutal at it's heart but is unafraid to push the expectations of common metal. We have a dream of a metal band that amazes mosh pits and musicians alike. We have a dream that is almost realized. We are searching for a guitarist who shares our dream of domination. We are searching for a guitarist who writes riffs that make you want to punch your mother, solos that sear the skin from your face, melodies that defy you to not sing, and jazz/blues breaks and changes that fortune tellers couldnšt predict. We have a dream to create a band to rival all conventional metal. We do not claim to have achieved any of this yet, but we are chasing this dream, and all we need is you!!! We are IKILLYA. We do not care what your influences are as long as you want to make metal. Ours would take too long to list. We donšt care what color you are, what sex you are, or what planet you are from. Join us. We know you are out there. Nov. - 2007 What's up all!? As usual, nothing ever goes as planned in IKILLYAland. We're still plugging away but haven't been able to get out as often as we'd like. There are rumors of some big changes ahead, so stay tuned! Make sure you make it out the saturday after Thanksgiving, Nov. 24th, to the Trash Bar also! We're throwing down with our good friends Whiskey Life, Annunaki, and 12 Eyes. It is unfortunately also Whiskey Life's last show so don't miss your chance to party with them!! See ya there! Sept. 3rd - 2007 Good god, what a weekend!! 3 days of metal and mayhem with our great friends in Whiskey Life, Hung, and Devil To Pay. Thanks to all of them and the crews at Trash Bar, DJ Riders, and The Court Tavern! And above all, Thanks to all of you who came and partied with us! We are officially back at it! Hide your alcohol and anything we might use as a weapon! We will be booking like crazy now and hopefully hitting the studio in the near future. August - 2007 The time is finally here folks!! IKILLYA is back Friday Aug 31st, Saturday Sept 1st, and Sunday Sept 2nd! Friday we're in Brooklyn at the Trash Bar, Saturday we're in Long Island at DJ Riders, and Sunday we're in Jersey at The Court Tavern. All 3 dates are with our good friends HUNG, Whiskey Life, and Devil To Pay (from IN). Check out our Tour page for all the details. We're really psyched to share the stage with our good friends and introduce you all to our new guitarist Eric Jackson. We've been busting our asses for the last few months getting tight and writing new songs. We hope you all can come out, help us welcome him, and throw down with us. We're heavier and meaner than ever before! See you all Friday!! July - 2007 I know you all must be wondering what's going on over here, but I swear we haven't died yet!! Our new guitarist Eric is fitting in nicely. It's great to feel comfortable with the band again! We're writing lots of new material and just generally preparing for battle! We have lined up a mini tour at the end of august into the begining of september with our close friends (and badasses) Hung, Whiskey Life, and Devil To Pay from Indiana. We're kicking off aug 31st at the Trash bar in brooklyn so make sure you swing by!! This is one of our favorite bars and it will be a KILLER show. May - 2007 It seems like this year is flying! Another month has gone by and we'd like to welcome Eric Jackson as the newest official member of IKILLYA! Eric is an unbelievable guitarist who thinks way outside of the norm and that's just the way we like it. At this point, we're still considering adding another guitarist. Hell, maybe even a keyboardist. Right now, we're happy to be 4 again! If you know a guitarist or keyboarist who might fit, feel free to send them our way! See ya soon! April - 2007 Hey there loyal members of the Arsenal!! So things are moving along at practice. We've got some BEEFY, metal ass new stuff crankin out! But, while we're working away, we decided to give you something to laugh at; we've uploaded 7 new videos to our youtube channel. First we uploaded a tribute to our last guitarist, Pete. All I can say is, watch with caution!! Next we uploaded 6 videos that combined are the video record of an INSANE new years eve party with the members of Hung and IKILLYA, and some of our close friends. If you've spent any time around us since then, you have surely heard us yelling 777! Now you'll have the chance to see what it's all about. Enjoy!! The neighbor of the freakin beast! March - 2007 Full Speed ahead! After a greuling 3 month search we have chosen 2 of the most bad ass guitarists in the city of New York to play with us. As always, we will be jamming with them for a few weeks in a probationary period to make sure none of us have any charming personality traits that make the others want to kill them. We are confident though, that we will be anouncing Eric and Joe as permanent members in the near future. I know we have made a good bit of noise about wanting to stay a 4 piece, but frankly, these 2 guys blew us away and we couldn't pick one over the other. We know you are out there. January - 2007 Welcome to the new year!! 2007 is starting off with a challenge for IKILLYA. Last night's show at the Mean Fiddler was Pete's last show with IKILLYA. He is leaving to join the band Let 'Em Burn. Of course, this means we are now searching for a new guitarist. If you know one, or are one, e-mail us and set up an audition. We will be back up and running soon! On a good note, the first Fucking Brutal metal Monthly last night was amazing! We had a blast and the entire show was great! We packed the place out and showed NYC was metal is all about. Huge thanks to all of you who came out, The Mean Fiddler, Hung Productions, Lo-Fi Enterainment, Hung, Voodoo Terror Tribe, Eden A.D., Slow Intentional Damage, and The Saints of Pain!! We will see you all again soon!! December - 2006 As many of you know, the unfortunate fire at The Pirates Den in jersey has canceled our show on Dec 15th. Our hearts go out to the owner as he lost his house in the blaze as well! He was a great supporter of underground music and we hope he will be back on his feet again soon. Keep watch here as we will be involved in any rebiulding efforts we can. We appologized to all of you in South Jersey who were looking forward to seeing us. We will be back soon! ...and the battle rages on. 2006 has been an eventfull year for IKILLYA. Most of it happened out of your sight, but the building blocks have been set for what we believe will be some amazing things. We recorded our first demo and it was a great learning experience. We will hopefully be recording again early in the new year. We have played some great shows and hopefully entertained many of you. If not, we damn sure will!! We are taking the holidays off as we have lots to tend to. We hope you will all have a safe and happy holiday season and rejoin us Jan 20th at the Pussycat Lounge with our bothers (and sister) in arms HUNG!! Till then..... November - 2006 What's up all? Welcome to IKILLYA.com! We have allot of stuff going on. First off, we've just completed several kick ass shows for NoBetta Booking with several great bands like HUNG, Undying Devotion, and Crave The Air. Next up, we will be at Club Deep in Jersey on Nov. 30th, so don't miss it! We have also just completed recording 4 songs at Monsterland Studios. We had a great time working with Byron and would recomend him to anyone working with a tight budget. So you want to be in The Arsenal? You want to earn "kills" good for free IKILLYA Schwag, bragging rights, and tons of other free stuff ONLY for Arsenal members? First, Send an e-mail to Jason and get yourself officially registered. (Of course, if you don't want to register, you're more than welcome to do this stuff for free!!) Then, perform any or all of this stuff and send us proof!! -Pics, videos, audio, whatever! The Arsenal members with the most Kills will also be featured on our website on top of the free stuff! So, here's what you've got to do.. -Come to our shows and represent by screaming, moshing, chanting along, or just slapping random strangers. -Sporting IKILLYA gear anywhere and everywhere. Funerals, weddings, your workplace, monster truck shows, backyard wrestling matches, stripclubs, or while your making out with your neighbor's cousin in the shower after an invigorating match of whipped cream covered Twister! -Helping us promote by getting our name wherever you can.
